All of the schools in the project exchanged handmade Valentine cards with each other. They were written anonymously and many had little verses in Italian, Czech, Polish, Spanish, German, Irish and English. It was lovely opening big thick envelopes filled with hearts and arrows!
Happy Valentine`s Day!
The Comenius Club in the Irish school were very busy designing Valentine cards for the rest of the school. The other pupils in the school copied some of these designs and made one hundred and fifty cards for the pupils in the other European schools. This is part of the Valentine`s Day card exchange among all the schools. The Irish school has already received beautifully handmade cards from their partner schools and are looking forward to seeing more in the coming days! The school in Sicily is learning all about waste separation. They have teamed up with a local company Daedalus Environment who weigh their recycled rubbish every week. You can read more about their efforts and see lots of great photos here. Ben Fatto!
